About Us

The Swim Faculty are a swim education provider located in the Scenic Rim region of South-east Queensland.

We offer swimming lessons, stroke development and squad training for all ages and capabilities of swimmer, i.e. babies, toddlers, school aged children, performance swimmers and adult learn to swim.

Our first swim school, albeit small, was located at our rural property in Mundoolun, which expanded to the point where we opened the swim school at Jimboomba.

We have opened a new indoor aquatic centre at Beaudesert where we have expanded our aquatic services and added activities such as Lap Swimming and Walking, Aqua Zumba®, Birthday Parties and a variety of squads.

Scenic Rim Swimming ClubThe new centre at Beaudesert will also be the home for the Scenic Rim Swimming Club, a new club for the Gold Coast region that recently became affiliated with Swimming Queensland.

Club nights are held every fortnight through school terms. Contact The Swim Faculty staff for more information on club membership and club nights.

 

The Kooralbyn International SchoolIn 2010 we signed an agreement with The Kooralbyn International School allowing us to provide swimming lessons, squads and other aquatic activities from their new indoor sports complex. The indoor pool will benefit the community greatly with year round swimming now being available in the area.

In 2011 we are running a Swimming Mastery program for the school. This will supplement the existing mastery programs at the school which give students the opportunity to acheive excellence in their chosen sporting or educational discipline.

 

Customers of The Swim Faculty typically come from the surrounding rural areas and the major towns in the region, such as Tamborine, Beaudesert, Jimboomba, Flagstone, Kooralbyn and Canungra.

All swimming teachers are Austswim qualified, with all teachers holding the General Water Safety qualifcation, and most having the additional Infant Aquatics qualification. Our head coach is also holds a Bronze ASCTA license.

 

Love2SwimWe are also endorsed by Royal Life Saving Qld as a provider of their Love2Swim (swim survial) program.
